1. Introduction
SnapAura (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides an AI photo generation app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and your choices. By using SnapAura, you agree to this Policy.
2. Guest access & optional registration (features that are not account-based)
Under App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v), features that are not account-based must be usable without requiring personal information. SnapAura’s core features — browsing templates in Studio and Spark, and using Photo Generator — are not account-based.
These features do not require you to:
- Register or log in with Apple, Google, or any other identity provider
- Provide your name, email address, or other personal account identity
On the Sign In screen, the primary action is “Explore without account” (guest). Choosing guest creates an anonymous session using only device-related identifiers needed to operate the app (and a push notification token only if you allow notifications). Guest mode does not collect name or email from Sign in with Apple or Google.
Sign in with Apple or Google is optional and is only for account-based features, such as: syncing generation history and credits across devices; linking purchases to a personal account; and managing that account (including Delete Account where available).
3. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:
Account & identity (only if you choose to sign in)
- Name / email (or identifiers) from Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In — not collected for guest sessions
- Account ID and authentication tokens
Guest session data (when you continue without an account)
- Anonymous / device session identifiers needed to operate guest access to Studio, Spark, and Photo Generator
- A device hardware / integrity identifier (see Device & app data below) sent to SnapAura servers to create or resume a guest session and to link a later Apple/Google sign-in to a prior guest where applicable
- Optional push notification token (if you allow notifications)
Photos, face data & generation content
- Photos/images you upload for AI generation (these may depict your face or other people’s faces)
- Face data contained in those photos (visual facial appearance in the image pixels). We do not collect Face ID biometrics, TrueDepth face mesh, depth maps, or facial geometry templates from Apple’s system APIs
- Template selections and generation job metadata (e.g. template ID, status, timestamps)
- Generated output images / download URLs stored with your session or account history
Purchase & credits
- In-app purchase product IDs and transaction identifiers (Apple / Google) used to verify purchases and credit your balance
- Credit balance and purchase/usage history
- Records needed to determine eligibility for a one-time starter/free credit grant (including association with the device hardware / integrity identifier so the free grant is not given again after account deletion and a new sign-in/guest session on the same device eligibility basis)
Device & app data
-
Device hardware / integrity identifier used for account/session integrity, guest login, fraud prevention, and one-time free-credit eligibility:
- Android: the platform Android ID (
Settings.Secure.ANDROID_ID) - iOS: a stable app device identifier stored in the on-device Keychain (seeded once from Apple’s vendor identifier / IDFV, or a generated UUID if unavailable). This is not the advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not require App Tracking Transparency by itself
- Android: the platform Android ID (
- App-generated local session / install identifiers where used
- App version, OS, crash/diagnostics data
- Push notification token (if you allow notifications)
- Advertising / analytics identifiers where permitted (e.g. after App Tracking Transparency on iOS)
Usage data
- Feature usage, screens viewed, errors (via analytics / crash reporting)
We do not ask you to create a password in-app when you use Apple/Google sign-in.
4. How we collect information
- Directly from you (uploads, purchases, settings)
- Automatically from your device / SDKs (Firebase, ads, analytics)
- From sign-in providers (Apple, Google)
- From app stores when verifying purchases
5. How we use information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account or guest session
- Operate guest login and optional linking of a prior guest session when you later sign in with Apple or Google
- Enforce one-time free / starter credit eligibility and prevent abuse
- Generate AI photos from your uploads
- Process credit purchases and maintain balances
- Sync templates, history, and preferences
- Send optional push notifications about generations / account activity
- Improve reliability and security (crash reports, diagnostics, fraud prevention)
- Show ads (where enabled) and measure performance
- Comply with law and App Store / Play policies
- Respond to support requests
6. Sharing with third parties
We share data only as needed to operate SnapAura:
| Recipient | Data shared | Purpose |

We do not sell your personal information.
7. Legal bases (EEA/UK users, where applicable)
Where applicable, we process data based on: contract performance, legitimate interests (security, improvement), consent (e.g. tracking / certain sharing), and legal obligation.
8. Face data (photos that may include faces)
SnapAura is an AI photo generator. When you upload a photo that shows a face, that image contains face data (the visual depiction of a face in the photo). This section answers how we collect, use, share, store, retain, and delete face data for both guest and signed-in users (App Store Guideline 2.1 / sensitive face data).
8.1 What face data we collect
- User-selected photos/images uploaded in the app for generation (which may include one or more faces)
- AI-generated output images derived from those uploads (which may also depict faces)
We do not collect Face ID credentials, iris scans, or Apple TrueDepth facial mapping data. We do not use the device camera for continuous face scanning or biometric authentication.
8.2 How we use face data
- Sole purpose: to create the AI-generated photo you requested from a selected template
- We do not use face data for advertising, marketing profiles, credit scoring, or identity verification beyond operating your SnapAura session/account history
- We do not sell face data
8.3 Sharing of face data
Face data in uploaded photos is shared only as needed to fulfill your generation request:
- SnapAura backend servers — to receive your upload, run the generation job, and manage history metadata
- Cloudflare — to store uploaded face/source photos during processing (HTTPS in transit)
- Third-party AI image generation provider: Kie.ai (NEXUSAI SERVICES LLC; https://kie.ai/privacy-policy) — to process the photo(s) / face data and return a generated image
Sharing with the AI provider happens only after you agree to the in-app “AI photo processing” consent screen. We do not share face data with AdMob or analytics SDKs.
8.4 Where face data is stored
- On your device: temporarily while you select/upload a photo for a generation
- Cloudflare (our cloud storage): uploaded photos that contain face data are stored here for generation processing
- SnapAura backend: generation job metadata and history references associated with your guest session or signed-in account
- AI provider (Kie.ai): processed to create your result; handled under Kie.ai’s practices described at https://kie.ai/privacy-policy
8.5 Retention & deletion of face data
- Uploaded face / source photos: stored on Cloudflare and automatically deleted from our backend within 24 hours after upload/processing
- Earlier deletion: when you use Delete Account in Settings (signed-in accounts), we delete or anonymize account data including remaining uploaded/generated images containing face data, subject to limited legal/accounting retention where required
- You may also contact us at developmentp096@gmail.com to request deletion
8.6 Your choices
- Do not upload photos or decline AI consent — no face photos are sent for generation
- Use guest access without providing name/email; still control whether you upload photos
- Delete Account (when signed in) to remove remaining stored uploads/history containing face data
8.7 App Review answers (face data)
What face data does the app collect? User-uploaded photos that may depict faces (face appearance in image pixels) and AI-generated outputs that may depict faces. Not Face ID / TrueDepth biometrics.
Planned use, sharing, retention, deletion, and storage? Use only to fulfill the generation request. Share with SnapAura servers, Cloudflare (storage), and Kie.ai after in-app consent. Uploaded face/source photos are stored on Cloudflare and automatically deleted from our backend within 24 hours. Delete Account / email developmentp096@gmail.com can also request deletion.
Shared with third parties? Where stored? Yes — SnapAura servers, Cloudflare, and Kie.ai for generation only (after consent). Face/source uploads are stored on Cloudflare; processed by Kie.ai under https://kie.ai/privacy-policy; briefly on device during upload.
How long retained? Uploaded face/source photos are retained on our backend (Cloudflare) for up to 24 hours, then automatically deleted.
Where explained in this Policy? Sections 3, 6, 8 (8.1–8.7), 9, 11, and 14.
9. Data retention (general)
- Account and history: while your account is active
- Guest session history: while the guest session remains active and needed to provide the service
- Uploaded face / source photos (face data): stored on Cloudflare and automatically deleted from our backend within 24 hours
- Purchase records: as required for accounting / store rules
- Logs/crash data: for a limited period for debugging
When you use Delete Account in Settings, we delete or anonymize account data as described in-app, subject to legal retention needs. See also Section 8 (Face data).
10. Security
We use industry-standard measures (including encryption in transit via HTTPS, and encrypted local storage where applicable). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
11. Your choices & rights
- Guest / no registration: use Studio, Spark, and Photo Generator via “Explore without account” without providing name or email (see Section 2)
- Optional sign-in: Apple or Google only if you want account-based sync and account management
- Device hardware / integrity identifier: used only for SnapAura functionality and security (not cross-app advertising). Uninstalling the app alone may not clear an iOS Keychain-stored id on the same device; contact us at developmentp096@gmail.com for deletion requests related to account/device-linked data
- AI consent: required before first generation; you can decline and not generate
- Face data / photos: uploaded face/source photos are deleted from Cloudflare/backend within 24 hours; Delete Account can remove remaining data (see Section 8)
- Tracking (iOS): App Tracking Transparency prompt; change later in iOS Settings
- Notifications: system permission; disable in device settings
- Ads: may be limited if you deny tracking / use platform ad settings
- Logout / Delete Account: available in Settings where applicable
- Access / correction / deletion requests: email developmentp096@gmail.com
12. Children’s privacy
SnapAura is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries where we or our providers operate. We take steps to protect transferred data as required by applicable law.
14. Third-party links & SDKs
The app may open external links (e.g. this Privacy Policy, Apple EULA). Third-party services have their own policies (Apple, Google, Firebase, AdMob, Kie.ai).
15. Template catalog & content standards (no intimate-contact templates)
Under App Store Guideline 1.1, SnapAura must not include features that can be used to create objectionable intimate-contact content via dedicated templates.
We have removed from our backend release catalog all templates and categories intended for generating content that shows people making intimate contact with each other — including Couple Photo and similar hugging, kissing, cuddling, or other intimate-contact styles. Those items are unpublished and are not served to the app.
Studio and Spark only display templates from the live non-intimate backend catalog. Users cannot select or generate from intimate-contact templates because those templates are not part of the released catalog.
Users must still follow applicable law and our Terms when uploading photos. Intimate-contact generation templates remain excluded from release.
16. Changes
We may update this Policy. We will post the new “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of SnapAura after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
